Custom Links on URL Shortener


When you create a link in, a random string of letters and numbers appear at the end of the URL. You can edit this random string to be a custom link.

This also works with custom vanity domains. For example http:/


*Custom links need to be unique and not used before. If the link has been used before, we recommend you purchase a vanity domain and you can use the same custom link there. For example: will work on another domain such as For directions on how to set up a custom domain click here.

When you sign in, enter a link to shorten then click Shorten & Share. You will then see a button called 'Edit Link'.




Edit the text you would like to appear after and then click 'Edit Link' in the popup.




Your custom link is then ready to be shared!

If you would like to edit a link that is already saved, hover over the link and click the pencil icon to edit.





  • The character limit for custom links is 255
  • Special characters are not permitted (%, ?, #)
